As anticipation builds for the upcoming Indianapolis 500, driver Conor Daly is set to compete, positioning his Juncos Hollinger Racing entry on the fourth row of the starting grid among the field of contenders.

New Partnership with ampm

A key development for Daly’s No. 76 Chevrolet campaign is the newly announced primary sponsorship from ampm. This partnership places the convenience store brand prominently on his car for the Indy 500, with aspirations for a strong performance.

The collaboration between JHR and ampm was recently unveiled, establishing ampm as Daly’s main sponsor for multiple races this season and extending into 2026. Daly expressed significant enthusiasm for the alliance, noting his pride in the vehicle’s appearance and the quick finalization of the agreement, which was initiated relatively recently at the Long Beach IndyCar race.

Daly highlighted the Indy 500 as an exceptional platform for ampm and its associated brand, Arco. The partnership isn’t limited to the marquee race; future promotional activities and ‘activations’ are planned, particularly targeting locations on the West Coast, as well as potentially events in Monterrey and Portland. Ampm operates primarily in the Western United States, with a significant presence in California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington, alongside some outlets in New York.

Daly’s Personal Connection

Adding a personal touch to the sponsorship, Daly shared his genuine appreciation for convenience stores, humorously identifying as a “huge gas station snack guy.” He detailed his routine of purchasing snacks, hydration drinks, energy drinks, or coffee during stops, emphasizing a preference for items like protein bars or hydration-focused beverages, acknowledging his need for energy or caffeine depending on the time.

Indy 500 History

This year marks Daly’s 12th appearance in the prestigious Indy 500 race. His performance in the previous year’s event resulted in a 10th-place finish.
